After supposedly being turned down by Richard Neutra to design their home, clients Joseph and Lore Kingsley commissioned Davidson to design a unique home to fit their needs. This design was then mirrored next door in the house built for Joseph Kingsley's mother. Both houses provided southern exposure to a lemon grove and beyond, the ocean.
