Panoramic view of Santa Monica looking south from about the line of present Santa Monica Blvd. View is of the original bathing beach, or North Beach, in 1895. The Camera Obscura seen in the distance near the pier has since been removed to the top of the bluff. The Arcadia Hotel is in the left distance.
