Photograph article dated June 3, 1961 partially reads, "Carol Edmond, 17, Reseda, has the highest girls' bowling average in the United States. To be specific, Miss Edmond, 18217 Vanowen St., averaged 186 per game in her most recent season in the American Junior Bowling Congress's senior girls classification for girls 16 to 18." Photograph caption reads, "Carol Edmond, Reseda, shows style that made her top girl bowler - In picture at right above, Vic Ramos of Burbank Elks gives her a trophy."
