Photograph dated November 15, 1947 shows a helicopter landing on the roof of the Foreman & Clark clothing store as it celebrates the grand opening of its Hollywood store on Hollywood Boulevard and Ivar Avenue. The helicopter, part of the Paul Mantz Air Service, made a delivery of goods coming directly from the airport to demonstrate the new advances in air transport. Spectators can be seen looking out the windows of the Guaranty Building to the right. Also seen are the Knickerbocker Hotel to the left of the Guaranty Building and the 'Hollywoodland' sign in the distance. The grand opening took place on November 13, 1947.
