Mabery Road runs across the image from the foreground at right to the background at left, and Rustic Canyon heads away from the viewer in the background at center. There is a two-story Spanish-style house in the foreground at center. It has a courtyard enclosed by archways and an outbuilding with a flat roof. Santa Monica Canyon is full of trees and other plants, and there are several other buildings scattered throughout. A tall mountain range is in the background.
