Photograph caption dated November 18, 1961 reads, "Pierce College students decided to do something about aiding the Mercy Bowl football game between Fresno State and Bowling Green in the Coliseum Thanksgiving Day and the result was the spending of $174 for 58 tickets to be used by Brahma football players. Proudly participating, top to bottom on left, are head coach Ray Bishop, line coach Bill Ford and athletic director Mike Cirino. At right, top to bottom, are co-captains Bob Wittenberg, Jim Harrington and Mike Skinner."
