Scenic view of the resort town of Idyllwild, nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains. Uncluttered views calm the eyes and quiet, rural sounds soothe the ears in this mountain hamlet just a couple of hours southeast of the crazed commotion of Los Angeles. The large granite rock formation, Tahquitz Rock (also known as Lily Rock), is partially visible through the clouds in the upper center. Photograph dated May 17, 1985.
