In E. F. Mueller Postcard Collection.
View of the White Angel Jungle "soup kitchen" in San Francisco during the Depression era where the unemployed were given free food. The White Angel Jungle was located on the Embarcadero near Filbert Street. A crowd of people are seen lined up for food. In the upper right is a picture of Lois Jordan known as the "White Angel."
