Description
One of a series of 12 color photographs of a walk-through / inspection in February 1987 of Kotska Hall (the former University of the Pacific building Helen Guth Hall) at Bellarmine Preparatory. This was likely done in conjunction with a January 1987 request for review by the Historic Landmarks Commission after Bellarmine filed a request to remove the structure from the Historic Resources Inventory. Photographs are taped to manila folder, with captions in pencil. The two-story former women's dormitory was built in the early 1900s during the time William Guth was president of the College of the Pacific, and named after Dr. Guth's wife. It was one of the last structures remaining of the original COP campus when it was located in San Jose.
