Photograph caption dated April 20, 1962 reads, "Recreation Director Gordon Martin shows Valerie Lloyd, 10, and her father, Glenwood, all of Burbank, how to set up a tent. Martin is giving the Lloyds a preview of one of seven lessons they'll have in Burbank Park and Recreation Department's family camping program starting April 23." Classes were held at the Olive Recreation Center.
