Image is of most of the town on the far side of the river. In the center there is a bridge over the river with a few sailing boats or row boats to the right of it. "J. Britton, del. Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1852 by Cooke & Le Count in the Clerks Office of the Dt. Court of the Northern Distr. of California"-- text, below image. "Lith. & Published by Cooke & Le Count San Francisco."--text, below title. "Noisy Carrier's Publis[hing Hall]. Long Wharf San Fran[cisco]. Charles P. Kimball."--stamped text, lower right below image. Paper color: buff.
