Photograph caption dated May 5, 1950 reads "Marguerite Poley, victim of a series of accidents, once contemplated suicide. Painting took her mind off troubles and here she displays some of her works which are on exhibit at Pool and Patio Shop, 4335 Van Nuys Blvd., Sherman Oaks."
