Description
Photograph article dated April 1, 1964 partially reads, "Valley Jewish women are bringing traditional foods up-to-date. They're experimenting with new dishes to add to their collections of timeless Passover recipes, which have been handed down from family to family for generations. Many Jewish women's groups, such as Daroma Chapter of Pioneer Women, demonstrated new Passover ideas as special program for their meetings." Photograph caption reads, "The preparation of Matzo Meal Latkes is demonstrated by Mrs. Syd Strausberg, left, Canoga Park, and Mrs. Fred Mills, president of Daroma Chapter of Pioneer Women."; See image #00132756 for additional photo in this series.
