Photograph of a view of Somerset Street in Bellflower, 1929. The wide street runs from the foreground to the background at center. Early model automobiles can be seen parked along the curbs on both sides of the street, while several pedestrians can be seen crossing the road at center. Two-story brick buildings line the street at left and right. Utility poles also can be seen along the road.
Legible signs include, from left: "Plumbing", "Radio", "Jewelry", "S. E. Moore Artistic Photos", "First National Bank of Bellflower", "Marion's", "Restaurant", "Garage", "Chevrolet", "Dentist", "The Gang Comedy", and "Theatre".
