Description

Photograph article dated July 3, 1964 partially reads, "In an 'out-of-this-world' location, at Malibu Canyon, just north of the Ventura Freeway, in the scenic West San Fernando Valley, lie 1,000 acres of rolling hills and quiet valleys that make up the exciting new community of Malibu Canyon Homes. The close-by 'Shangri-La' will be a beautiful and unusual planned community of 3,500 living units, with both single homes and town house condominiums." Pictured is a two-story model, which is one of twelve exteriors available.
