Shows base of stem of old fire injured individual of Arctostaphylos morroensis 1' in diameter, 8' high. Note absence of any burl at base. Also note the rough shreddy bark. Assoc. species: Adenostoma fasciculatum, Quercus agrifolia, Ericameria ericoides, Ceanothus lompocensis
