Description
Douglas Perkins' grandfather, Nathan Ellis, was the first Justice of the Peace of Whittier. Perkins grew up in Los Nietos, an area of South Whittier that later incorporated as Santa Fe Springs. He discusses Whittier State School, as well as his early memories of Whittier.
