Photograph of a handbill advertising the Lafayette Hotel in Los Angeles, [s.d.]. A drawing of the hotel is at the top of the advertisement, and the text that makes up the rest of the handbill reads as follows: "Lafayette Hotel, Main Street, Los Angeles, Cal. Chris Fluhr, proprietor. Travelers visiting Los Angeles, will find this Hotel to be one of the best in Southern California. Parties sojourning at this Hotel, are furnished with the Best Accommodations, and the Tables are supplied with the best the markets afford. Pleasant and Airy Suits of Rooms can be furnished Families at reasonable rates. Boarders taken by the Day, Week, or Month. A Coach with the name of the Hotel upon it, will convey passengers to and from the Railroad depot. Free of Charge".
