Description
Theodore J. Van de Kamp and Lawrence L. Frank, owners and originators of the now million-dollar Van de Kamp Bakeries, were presented a large bronze plaque reproduction of the first store, opened 40 years ago, January 6, 1915, at 236 1/2 South Spring Street. Plaque was presented by four women representing more than 700 store managers and supervisors at the Annual Managers' Banquet in the Embassy Room of the Ambassador Hotel. Photograph dated February 16, 1955.
