The W.J. Burk & Co., Inc. facility, designed by Jack H. MacDonald and Cejay Parsons, was developed and built by owner John M. Stahl to the cost of $250,000.
Aerially looking over the trapezium-shaped warehouse (center) occupied by W.J. Burk & Co., Inc., a distributor of concrete construction specialties. Located near the intersection of Telegraph Road (foreground) and E. Washington Boulevard (running from front to back, right), this plant is in the heart of the Central Manufacturing District. Interstate 5 can be seen in the lower right corner. Photograph dated September 15, 1955.
