Photograph article dated November 28, 1949 partially reads, "Years hence, the ageless fairly-tale of Goldilocks and the bears may read thus: 'Once upon a time there were two bears, Mama Bear and Papa Bear, living on Lullaby Lane in the San Fernando Valley-' And should this 20th century version of the bear story appear, it won't be found in the fairy-tale section of libraries, but rather on shelves marked 'true stories.' For living at 8344 Lullaby Lane in Panorama City, Van Nuys, are Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Bear, affectionately known to neighborhood youngsters as Mama Bear and Papa Bear. Baby bear is missing, but a multitude of the Goldilocks variety find a friendly atmosphere in the Bear residence." Photograph caption reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Bear of Lullaby Lane. Van Nuys neighbors call them Mama Bear and Papa Bear."
