Description
This circa 2000 postcard captures the evening splendor of Old Sacramento Historic Park, on the south side of K Street, between Front and Second streets. Visible are, right to left, the What Cheer House, built in 1853, and the National House, whose construction dates back to the mid-1850s. New Year's Eve and Independence Day are popular times for fireworks displays in Old Sacramento.
