The Buena Vista library opened in July 1948 and served the community for over 50 years. A new Buena Vista library opened across the street at 300 N. Buena Vista St. in 2002. This photo, likely from the 1990s, shows the library from the southwest corner of Verdugo Ave. and Buena Vista St. A sign on library’s lawn reads “Burbank Library, Buena Vista Branch.” From labels on photo frame: “Buena Vista Library From Across Verdugo Ave.”
