Description
Photograph of Washington Hill on Washington Boulevard, looking east from Normandie Avenue, June, 1896. Telephone poles line the left-hand side of the unpaved street along a post-and-wire fence, while trees line the right-hand side. Pedestrians can be seen in the roadway in the extreme background of the picture. What appears to be the spire of a church is also visible over the treetops.
