Aerial view of the Ford Motor Company, Mercury Plant site in Pico Rivera; view is undetermined. Plant is in early stages of construction and located on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard and Washington Boulevard. The 157-acre manufacturing facility was dedicated on May 6, 1948; the plant closed in 1980 and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 1982. Photograph dated May 14, 1956.
