Photograph caption dated January 11, 1960 reads "Three swastikas appeared on columns at North Hollywood High School in series of weekend incidents in Valley and Los Angeles. Nazi hate-emblems were also placed on Beth Meier House of Light, 11725 Moorpark St., and rabbi there received telephoned bomb threat. Children were permitted to enter temple following search."
