Description
The main focus of the photograph is a group of school children holding on the fence and looking at the street, most likely at J. A. Hawkins as he was taking the photograph. There is also a group of children perched upon the jungle gym. The image remarks written in the negative: "Garfield public school playground within one block of South Orange Ave. Pasadena, Calif.
