Cameron E. Thom (1825-February 2, 1915) was an early settler in California, a Confederate officer, and a lawyer. He served as mayor of Los Angeles, California from 1882 to 1884. His residence is nestled among numerous trees which provide optimum privacy, and is located on the south east corner of Main and 3rd streets. A white picket fence surrounds his property, and while the side-walk appears to be paved, the road does not seem to be.
