Description
View of Wheeler's Ranch, later known as the private Wyntoon estate, in Siskiyou County along the McCloud River. The Bend was part of the Wheeler Ranch owned by Charles Stetson Wheeler. Built a hunting lodge in 1899 on the property, designed by Willis Polk. Property sold in 1934 to Phoebe Apperson Hearst.
