Description
Photograph caption dated August 23, 1957 reads, "Only one horse, but it won prize - Suzanne Coveny, 14, of North Hollywood, displays charms of her horse Brownie to pet show judge P. L. Flynn. Although Brownie was only horse entered, animal won grand prize as most outstanding pet. Entries submitted by more than 75 youngsters ranged from lizards, turtles and white rats to a chicken and the usual cats and dogs." See images 00154800 through 00154802 for all photos in this series.
