Description
Peter Drucker addresses a conference via satellite. During his talk, he discusses: the formation of the Drucker Foundation, the growth of nonprofit organizations, the expectations of volunteers, innovation, seeing problems as opportunities, learning to convert good intentions into performance and results, the importance of appraisal, organized abandonment, the success of Christian institutions in Japan, emphasizing one’s core mission, partnerships and alliances, and creating community through the social sector. Drucker congratulates the Rainforest Alliance and its ECO-O.K. Banana Project, the recipient of the 1995 Peter F. Drucker Award for Non-Profit Innovation.
