Photograph caption dated January 3, 1957 reads "Motorcycle officer Robert Bell, 23, is comforted by Officer F. R. Miller after former was struck by car and thrown from cycle at Laurel Canyon boulevard and Sarah street. Driver of the car, Barbara Jean Erein, 19 of Sherman Oaks, was not held."
