Description
"Fräulein Franke, Berliner-Schwester, mit dem kl. Adami in Kyimbila." ("Miss Franke, Sister in the Berlin Mission, with li[ttle] Adami in Kyimbila."). Miss Franke seated on a stool with a baby on her arms in front of a brick building.
The photo was probably taken during Adami's stay in Kyimbila from 1904 to 1915. -- Paul Gustav Adami (1880-1956) was a mission trader of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. He served in Kyimbila from 1904 to 1908 as employee and from 1908 to 1915 as procurator and business manager.
