"Bridgman Academy and Congregational Church Teng shih k'on, Peking" [now Beijing] A view of the front of the academy and church buildings from across a courtyard. Both buildings are rendered in Western style architecural design. A missionary woman stands at the doorway of the academy. A water tower is also visible in the background.
