Photograph caption dated January 19, 1965 reads, "Los Angeles sheriff Peter Pitchess, center, who will be playing in the Bob Hope Desert Classic, Feb. 3-7, gets tip on how to grip golf club from professional Bob Rosburg with Ernie Dunlevie looking on. Dunlevie is president of Bermuda Dunes, one of the courses to be used in the 'Bob Hope,' and secretary-treasurer of the classic. 'Lesson' was given at press luncheon yesterday at Sheraton West Hotel kicking off the $100,000 golf classic at Palm Springs." The Sheraton West Hotel is located on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.
