Description
Photograph of an aerial view of the Metropolian Studios in hollywood, 1919. The studios are at the center of the image, near the top, and are located in the middle of an otherwise empty field. There are thre soundstages and several other, smaller buildings. Across a divided street, on which there are several cars and trucks, there is a lumber yard, identified by piles of both raw logs and cut boards. The lumber facitily has several buildings in its compound, all topped with gently sloped roofs. There is also a flat-roofed rectangular building at right.
