Description
Interview with Steve Pisanos, Col. USAF Retired, July 30, 2013, discussing his time in the 71 Eagle Squadron in 1942 prior to US involvement in WW2. Col. Pisanos is one or the very few remaining Eagle pilots. Col. Pisanos discusses combat flying the Spitfire, P-47 and P-51 Interview discusses from 1942 until he crash landed in France in 1944. Interview by Ron Carrico at the San Diego Air and Space Museum in the Eagle Squadron Association exhibit built by the Association in the 1990's.
