Photograph article dated November 24, 1956 partially reads, "Elsworth (Spider) Webb risks his rankings as the world's eighth best middleweight against hard-punching Charlie Green in tonight's 10-round main event at Hollywood Legion Stadium. Webb, a product of Los Angeles Jordan High School and Compton J.C., will be engaging in his first ring appearance before the home folks. Spider, a two time NCAA winner from Idaho State College and a member of the '52 Olympic Games boxing team, has done most of his procampaigning [sic] in the Chicago area." Photograph caption reads, "Spider Webb sees Green tonight."
