Photograph shows several tank cars, two of which carry liquefied petroleum gas, that derailed at Washington and Indiana Street in the city of Vernon. Three men, possibly railroad officials, stand to the side trying to figure out how to upright the overturned cars. The railroad tracks appear to have buckled up ahead. Photograph dated December 10, 1979.
