Description
14 different views (including coat-of-arms). "Los Angeles' own"--a fitting title, bestowed by the official proclamation of the Mayor of Los Angeles on a regiment whose intimate association with the city's history is set forth, symbolically, in the regiment coat-of-arms sketched herewith. The five "gunstones" in this coat-of-arms represent the five designations of the regiment from first to last: The Los Angeles Guard, the Eagle Corps, the Seventh Regiment, the Ninth Infanty, and the 100th Infantry, "Los Angeles' Own." The crest is that prescribed for the National Guard organizations of California.
