Photograph article dated August 30, 1963 partially reads, "A Roaring 20s atmosphere will prevail at the 11th annual Kick-off Party of the Mary Duque Guild of Childrens Hospital Sept. 21 in the Encino gardens of the Thomas F. Dooling Estate. Mrs. Granville E. Lee, guild president, has appointed Mrs. Harris Dooling and Mrs. Harry Lauter co-chairmen... Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a buffet supper, game booths and dancing to Keith Williams and his Orchestra. Hostesses will wear flapper costumes and their husbands will don blazer coats, white pants and straw hats." Guild hostesses pictured are, Mmes. Harry Lauter, Tom Dooling and Marvin Lee.
