Photograph of the Chimpanzee family, "Mike, Mary, Bill and Lucy", sitting on a bench, ca.1940. The four chimpanzees sit in a row on the highest step of a wooden staircase leading to double doors behind them. The second chimpanzee from the left sits behind a small Boston Bulldog which is wearing a harness and leash. The chimpanzee has its right hand laid across the dog's chest. The leg and foot of a person can be seen on the far left.
