Description
Photograph of Café Alum Rock Park in San Jose, ca.1900. The view of the café is almost completely obstructed by the trees and plants that climb the walls. A corner of the shingled roof in the top left and a staircase on the right are all that can be seen of the building. A short, thin tree stands alone in a the paved clearing in the foreground with a covered wooden sign standing in the bushes behind.
