Photograph caption dated February 28, 1984 reads, "The Hostess company no doubt would like to put paroled political assassin Dan White and his infamous 'Twinkies defense' behind it, but whoever repainted this billboard on Robertson Boulevard at Pico obviously hasn't forgotten." The graffiti on the billboard reads, "Dan White's demise."
