Aerial view of American River near Folsom looking southwest. Notes accompanying photo indicate: "Peak outflow from Folsom Dam reached 110,000 cfs which fully utilized the safe American River channel capacity. Space in the river and by-pass system near Sacramento will pick up the release. This scene is at the old concrete bridge between the City of Folsom and Greenback Lane."
