At Glendale Central Air Terminal. Note with photograph: Jimmy Dunne, warming to his role as a pilot, spoofs his diminutive co-star. Dunne had never flown before, but weeks of exposure on location turned him into a flying enthusiast. He took lessons, earned his license and bought a plane. Thereafter at Christmas time each year he would overfly the Temple residence and drop a present by parachute in Shirley's backyard. Dunne took his flying seriously; to him it was a profession he could always fall back on. He joined the Los Angeles Police Aero Squadron and flew search and transport assignments. Later he helped organize the Harlow Aircraft Corporation.
