Photograph caption dated February 3, 1982 reads, "Cesar Chavez, left foreground in sweater, marches with 200 United Farm Workers and supporters at a downtown Los Angeles Safeway yesterday. The action launched a boycott of Dole food products over a Ventura mushroom plant where the union has been on strike since Nov. 19 in a contract dispute."
