Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated January 31, 1962 reads, "Detectives planned to seek felony complaints today against three alleged bandits captured minutes after they reportedly robbed an Encino bank of $12,760. A bizarre chain of coincidences, including a long distance telephone call and a turn into a dead-end street, led to their swift arrests Thursday, police said...booked on suspicion of robbery were Nicholas Demos, James Krasek and Rufus Lee Almand, all 29, and all of 6040 1/2 Vineland Ave., North Hollywood."
