Description
Two views of Lee de Forest's room at Yale University. Handwritten notes by de Forest on reverse: 412A: That equestrian landscape shows too much the effect of anxiety and embalmed beef -- and hand-tack in the background! 412B: Think over the dear days -- days and nights at Yale -- beyond recall now -- days of happiness and joy and love with the good world. Time here is well spent, and with all the sentiment, has been full of dogged work.
