Photograph of the steamers City of Los Angeles and Yale in San Pedro Harbor, 1910-1940. City of Los Angeles is at left. She is a large ship with two smokestacks and a light-colored hull. A small tugboat can be seen near the bow of the large steamer, while several cranes can be seen on the deck. In the foreground at right is the pilot boat Catherine Cry(?), which is loaded with uniformed men. In the distance at right, the Yale is moored along the Los Angeles Steamship Company wharf. Yale is a large ship with high decks and two tall smokestacks. A wharf can be seen at right.
